Life in 2012 is Back on Track!

Life is back on track! I’ve finally made the transition from having years of physical therapy from an injury, and not being able to use the computer. If that wasn’t enough interruption and challenge, I decided to move from Southern California up to the Central Coast again! Great move, long transition and it’s all worth the journey.

Sharing with you why it has taken me so long to revive or resurrect My Blog gives me pause. We, as human beings are so resilient, I’ve been told many times how very tenacious I am, it’s true.

There is so much to report I hardly know where to begin. I have several Mini-Workshops scheduled that will be posted here. These are some of my most popular because they produce positive changes that are sometimes quite profound. Sharing what I know about making life changes and what works for others is rewarding for everyone.

If your life has gotten off-track due to something you didn’t really have control over, usually embracing what ‘is’ in the moment is most healing. Resistance causes more friction, denial causes more pain and allowance creates healing.

Gratitude for even the smallest of what is good in your life no matter how bad it looks; makes it feel better. Smiling and laughing at the simplest of things; makes you feel better. Getting life back on track is no guarantee it remains on course. Sometimes a new path is the purpose for the ‘old road’ being out-of-service.

Life Interrupted

Life has been interrupted for a few months due to returning injury complications. I apologize for the long interruption of blogging. My enthusiasm has not waned, but my body is not agreeable just yet to continuing the use of my computer. Cellular Seeds For Greater Growth

Our Self naturally seeks well-being, wholeness and integration of all senses for a full life experience.

The Phoenix Blogs: Art, Life, Biz and Wellness for You bring simultaneous ‘cellular seeds’ for greater growth of Being. The ‘whole’ experience is ‘one’ fascinating journey of The Senses.

Wellness is Being whole in our entire Self; and how we enrich our lives with beauty and balance. Spirit uses the physical vessel as a cocoon for developing and evolving consciousness. The Mind is both the witness and the participant in its power to Be. Heart is the center space that opens or closes the pathways for emotional experiences. Unifying the tangible with the etheric is the Solar Plexus grounding the power within the Body, Mind and Spirit.

Art is something we incorporate, blend or submit into our lives through a mix of medium. The addition of art in our lives brings the right side of the brain into balance and beauty with the logical left.

Creativity meets analytical in a weave of artistic intelligence. Wellness happens when art is present.

Sounds for example, music, reach into every fiber of our Being and plant notes. Simple vibrations are mood adjusters for calming or energizing at a cellular level.

Colors may invoke paintings of rich scenes and fond memories. Black and white sketches bring dramatic contrast for the eyes to feast.

Words spoken, written or sung engage and empower all the Senses to attention.

Texture even at the slightest touch excites healing energy with intimate awareness.

Smells from the kitchen brings moments of our first taste of our favorite food, or sharing a meal with loved ones.

How shall we conduct business? Personal or Professional business presents questions of integrity, ethics and moral compass. Business is part of the whole, not entirely separate from our wellness of Being. Most business is utilizing the left side of the brain, or the logical and analytical hemisphere. Cross mixing our left and right side experiences by sharing the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual facets brings us to the balance and beauty of wholeness.

Life is the potpourri of our experiences. We must take beauty with ugly; happy with sad; health with illness; love with hate; peace with war and so on till we no longer separate life as good or bad but simply as Is. All that Is, is the whole of our Oneness through mixed perceptions and interpretations of the same. Life cannot and will not be caged. Only we can ‘cage’ ourselves and take away our own freedom and wellness as a ‘whole’.

Making Communication Clear

Where does communication fall apart and how does it raise the bar?

Misunderstandings are often the ‘gap’ between what someone said, and what someone heard.

Communication is the main key I often assist my clients with how to improve the relationships they have personally, professionally and with themselves.

Sharing thoughts and feelings is the heart of how we communicate. Listening to someone else as they are sharing is key to complete a circle between each other.

If you are the person speaking- be direct. Don’t assume the other person, no matter how close you think you are, knows what you are thinking. State your needs, wants, desires and what you are willing to be responsible for, and what you are willing to do to for ‘it’.

During the time someone is speaking and you are the listener, be attentive and honestly listen, without distraction of what you want to say next. Be respectful and stay calm, listen without reacting. When they are done speaking, then respond and acknowledge what they just said. Paraphrase (repeat) the best you can what you think they just said, to be sure ‘you heard’ what ‘they said’ correctly.

Get clarity of anything you find confusing or questionable. Assumptions kill communication because it is based on un-truths.

Conclusions from communication must be based on ‘clarified truths’ and not assumptions. Communication is incomplete, usually misunderstood and develops hurt or angry feelings if any part of it is based on assumptions and therefore incorrect conclusions.

Give the person the benefit of the doubt, some slack, by getting clarity directly from the source. Allow for some human quirks (you have them too!), and extend some compassion without judgment coming from your ‘own glass house’.

The more issues you have about or with others that you judge, the person in the mirror is being judged too, with the same. Use the differences between yourself and others for growth and learning, instead of seeing limitation and making more separation.

Be curious! It takes less energy and is easier to be curious and allowing of others ways and being, than to gossip and reject them or you.

Let’s make our communication a curious and open place to be with ourselves and others.

BEGIN TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE: Tips, Tools & Techniques

I wish to share this with others and hope you find value in the message.

Stop doing the same thing if you want different results! If you feel stuck, you are probably procrastinating. If you are procrastinating, this is a strong indication you are about to burn out and self-sabotage. Why and how do you change this most common behavior? How do you get the ‘Juice’ back in your life?

You need interest and passion to carry you through whatever part of a project or job you are avoiding. This is a deeper issue than most people realize and is the most common problem in achieving wealth and success!

Pay attention, notice why you are avoiding ‘something’. We all have things we wish we didn’t ‘have to’ do. Some things are a necessary part of a home, job, office or life as a whole.

When possible delegate out to someone else what you dread. If you have the finances to hire someone—do it! Find someone to ‘trade’ services. No matter what, do not let the ‘thing’ suck you dry of Life’s passion! I love the ‘reward system’ if you are truly the only one available and it must be done.

If it is a small project, the reward should be ‘pleasured’ after the project is done. For bigger, tougher jobs, in order to just get started, a quick and simple treat is okay. Halfway through, a more significant reward is used. Only when the task is complete do you get the works. Save the best rewards worthy of the job for the finale!

Let’s promote good habits, pleasant and enticing rewards for finishing the job. Food, smoking, drinking or sleeping for most people would not be a positive reinforcement.

Besides the rewards, transfer your love or passion temporarily to the project. Examples of how to get started with things that generate moving your energy toward what needs to be done, or mid-way, and the grand-slam reward.

1/ 5-10 min. of physical exercise and deep breathing

2/ listen to music that ‘moves and energizes’ your body and will keep you going

3/ read a ‘short’ inspiring poem, article or micro-passage in a book you like

4/ a walk on the beach or go surfing

5/ biking your favorite route

6/ writing your first paragraph for the book that has been creating in your head

7/ painting something on your waiting white canvas

8/ getting your favorite Starbuck’s beverage

9/ go to the silver-screen for a well-deserved movie

10/ acknowledge your Self for getting it done; embrace the warrior or winner within!

Building your self-esteem is important. Smile at yourself in the mirror everyday and establish a ‘can-do’ attitude with pride in yourself. This will make it easier each time to take-on the ‘undesirable’ tasks at home or work.

Chances are someone else is affected by your stuck-ness and procrastination. Everyone will benefit. This is a way to transfer what you love and appreciate to something else temporarily to get the incentive you need.

People get into a vicious cycle of avoidance and ultimately quitting and recycling this pattern if they don’t learn to master it now. Want something different than what you have? Change your thoughts and actions today.

The Blog's First Day

Though it's still forming, the Blog has risen to the Light for a new day! May 1st is the start of something new and fresh. It has come together and certainly taken it's time to shape up. Trying out all sorts of templates, colors and 'gadgets'.

We know this isn't going to be the final look. Part of the process is allowing it to happen. I'm super tired now and my body needs to be honored and allowed to sleep.

I have a lot to learn about how this site works. For not being a Techi I think my creative blood is winning so far! If you see or experience gliches here please contact me. Know that My Blog and I are continuing to develop together! As I become more familiar you will see and know the difference and it will be improving as I go. I ask for your patience and of course your comments or feedback. I am currently working on it, so I am in process as I write this now. I love learning new things, and this is certainly an experience in learning this form of Social Media!
